Public Speaking

Public Speaking - Phil Andrews

Whilst writing is my passion I am also a competent and (I hope!) interesting public speaker on those subjects about which I have some knowledge and experience.

Closest to my heart when it comes to speaking is anything to do with the 1970s – the music, the fashions, the films, the popular culture. But as a former independent community councillor, who for three years was Lead Member for Housing and Community Safety at the London Borough of Hounslow and a Group Leader within a complex and unique coalition administration, I also have years of experience in speaking about current affairs and matters of local, national and international government.

In addition I am an occasional lay preacher at my local Isleworth Congregational Church, which I am also proud to serve as a deacon. Not a Bible-thumping, doctrinaire Christian but rather an outside-the-box, reflective, analytical kind of guy who likes to make sense of his faith in a fun and thought-provoking way.

If you think I could add something to your meeting or event, please don’t hesitate to drop me an e-mail at info@phil-andrews.co.uk or use my contact form here, and let’s talk. I’m affable and affordable.
